Been around the forums for awhile but never properly introduced myself. I'm in the Air Force and live in Anchorage, AK. I grew up in Maine & Pennsylvania. I'm new to shooting pistols. I have shot a couple before but nothing serious. I picked up the XD9SC mainly for concealed carry and home defense. I also own an 870 20 ga with a Knoxx Stock and 7 rd capacity.

I picked up an XD9SC after reading lots of posts and asking many questions on the forum. If you've seen my other posts you might have seen that I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet (my gun came direct from SA with a loose front sight) and I'm in the process of sending it back.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the info and I look forward to shooting it and sharing my experiences once everything is taken care of.
