New member in Colorado
Just wanted to say hello. I recently purchased a XD Compact .45! I love this thing. I currently do Executive Protection work in Telluride, CO and was wanting a .45. I've owned the following and nothing compares to the XD:
glock 21 glock 21SF glock 36 HK USP 45 fullsize HK USP 45 compact Taurus 24\7 .45 numerous 1911's ( I won't go there) It was a real close call between the XD and the M&P .45. The XD was much smaller and felt better. The major deciding factor was Clint Smith of Thunder Ranch. After seeing him use the XD and not his 1911, I was sold on the XD. The only thing I would like to add to my XD is low profile night sites, and some grip extensions for my 10-rnd mags. I don't really like the pearce grip ext. Are there any smaller one's on the market? Thanks guys and I look forward to the Forums. |

Welcome to the forum. I carry the XD45 Service so I have not used any grip extensions.
