New from Michigan
Hi from West Michigan! I've been reading as a guest for awhile and finally decided to take the plunge. My interest came from my CCW class where I got to shoot my instructors XD-40. I really liked how it handled and have been looking at an XD-40sc or an XD-9sc. Haven't made up my mind yet.
Glad to be here and hope to keep learning more! |

Welcome
Welcome from Ohio. I took my CCW class this month also. I went with the XD9SC because I am an addict and 9mm are cheaper to buy since I go through 300 or more a week. That gun was awesome right out of the box. No recoil and a smooth trigger. Whatever you choose you will love it!

I've been doing a lot of reading on both the 9sc & 40sc. I already own a Ruger P95 and an LCP. The LCP works great for summer and I am looking for a carry weapon for the colder months-why I am leaning towards a 40sc or 9sc. Even though the 40 has more "whatever", based on price, ammo & my current collection, I think the 9sc is the way to go. I haven't read anything to push me in the other direction. It's like buying a car. Everyone has a preference and a reason a certain model is better.
I'm still not 100% convinced in any direction, but am keeping my options open! Thanks for all advice. |
