Hello fron West Texas!
I've been lurking on this sight for several weeks, and tonight I thought I'd just join. I got my first XD about a month ago, an XD-45 Tactical. This gun shoots great, and I look forward to putting many more rounds down range!
I'm looking for a holster now, and have been reading all the posts regarding various types, I'm also considering them all, but leaning towards Blackhawk. I'm currently using a Sidearmor for my Glock 17, so that's a possibility. I also shoot Ruger Single Actions(3 Vaqueros-2, .357, 1-45LC, SS Blackhawk in 45LC)
BTW, I'm a commercial photographer in Odessa, Texas, and besides reloading and benchrest shooting, my other hobby is working on and driving my '71 El Camino. It's got a 502HO crate motor in it as well as a B&M TH400 tranny, 3.73 Eaton Posi. The Holley 850 double pumper really sucks the gas, but when I bought the engine, gas was $.99 a gallon
