Hello all,
I just picked up my new XD-9 Tactical in black finish. I have been looking over your forum for a few weeks now and learning lots of useful information. Thank you all for that.  I work at and live near Aberdeen Proving Ground in Harford County. If anyone knows of some good outdoor ranges in my area, I would like to hear from you. |

Welcome from VA! I grew up near APG (lived in Conowingo, worked in Bel Air). If you haven't already, check out Maryland Shooters; they're a good group.
As far as ranges go, I found this on google: Horst and McCann, Inc. Indoor Gun Range 2137 North Fountain Green Road (Route 543) Bel Air, MD 21015 Phone: (410) 399-9518, Toll Free (800) 941-5804 Fax: 410 420-6920 Website: Gun Range Open 7 days per week Monday-Thursday noon 'til 9pm - Friday noon 'til 10pm - Saturday 11am 'til 10pm -Sunday 11am 'til 7pm (last shooting sessions for the day begin 45 minutes before closing) Open to the public. No membership required. When I'm up there to visit friends and family, I usually go to the state park in Northeast to shoot. |
