Hello from Memphis TN

Just ordered an XD9 SC this weekend, waiting for it to come in. Shot many different pistols including Kimber, Glock, etc. and fell in love with the XD. Any suggestions as to what are must haves for the gun?

welcome to the forum from Milton,FL. It all depends on what you want. On my Xd 45 Compact I have TFO night sights. On my XD 40 SC I have Trijicon Night Sights, I had the slide Hard Chromed and I had the barrel and Guide Rod polished by Todd at customized creationz. I ordered a Level 2 trigger kit for my Sub- Compact which will remove some of the take up and lighten the trigger pull. I also ordered a Level 1 Trigger kit designed by Springer Precision and ordered thru XD GUYS the kit contains 2 springs and is designed to lighten the trigger pull. The XD 40 SC is my primary summer time carry firearm.

Is there any particular reason you chose not to put TruGlos on the subcompact? I was thinking of purchasing some TFOs for mine...

Welcome! Im from Memphis as well. My recommendation for your new gun is to take that thing to Range USA and shoot the crap out of it. Hope you enjoy!
