Just bought new XD40
hello my name is david and i serve in the US Coast Guard. We carry the Sig .40 cal p229 DAK. I have been trying to decide if i should buy a sig but i didn't really want to spend $900 on a gun. so instead i have been looking at either getting a Glock22 .40 or the XD .40. I finally decided to go with the XD and it seems like a very well built gun.

Welcome from AZ! I too have an XD40, it's a great gun. I've put one of the Don's Guide Rods in it with the 18# spring and it made a very noticable difference in it's shooting characteristics, I highly recomend one.
