Welcome to the forum from UT and great choice on the XD45 Compact. The low and right is caused by your anticipation of the trigger breaking. There are some good sources on the web to help with. One that helped me is on downrange.tv, it is called the bump drill and you can find the video halfway down the page under the original videos section. Good Luck.
