Hey there all...I've been back and forth on buying a pistol for the past few years and I finally am giving in and the XD is my pick.

I found a local shop with a used XD Tactical all black (missing one mag, but everything else is there) for $425. That sound like a good price? From what I've found on the net it seems about right to me. Any suggestions on what to look for before I buy it, things that go bad, anything of that sort?

I'm from Central PA (State College Area). Unfortunately I'm not a student anymore, I got one of them real jobs, but I still got the Penn State bars to hang out at on the weekends (I went to Pitt though).

Wecome from over the mountain, Lewistown PA. Make the purchase you will not regret it. You ever need a place to shoot come try the Lewistown Pistol Club, you can check out the website for upcoming shoots. We have IDPA shoots the last Sunday of the month and PPC shoots on some other Sundays.
