Hello everyone so far. Appreciate the warm welcome. I've been so damn antsy all day to get outta work and grab this thing up. I managed the willpower to not buy it instantly yesterday and think it over another day. As long as its still in that case after work, it's mine!

Hey guys from my area. Wheres a good place to shoot around here? I've been lookin online but most places seem a bit out. I've never joined a club before, so I need to look into how I do that. Do I need a current member to get me in? The only place I know of with an indoor pistol range is freakin closed because of repairs to their back wall or something! Of course just when I'm picking up this gun they shut that down for a few weeks!

RSFireman, whipple is a cool place. I go out there alot when the weather is alright.

Depends on the rules of the club.

You might want to check out PA Firearms Owners Association for PA specific information.

Welcome from Arizona! i'd say buy it! your $100 ahead of the game atleast, you could buy more clips and a good holster for that , with the savings.

Thanks everybody! I picked up my XD and I've had it out twice already and I love it. My very first shot was a bullseye from 25 yards! Unfortunately things have gone downhill drastically from there haha Very nice gun though and I think I've found a new addiction.
