Hey fellas. Actually not an XD owner at this time but looking to make a purchase shortly. Normally a 1911 guy and a bolt rifle guy.

Now I will say there is an XD 9mm SC in my home but it happens to belong to my wife. She went out and took a CCW class with me in the beginning of May and shortly there after decided she like the fit and feel of the SC. Knowing SA's reputation I had no problem letting her buy it (on my birthday no less). Never been a big fan of composite framed guns before, that was until I shot that gun. I must say I am very impressed so much so that I'll be picking myself up a service model down the road.

Anyway been lurking for a week or so and decided to jump in here. Normally I hang out at Savageshooters and m1911.org.
