Stumbled across this forum while reading about DT ammo. Having 'played' quite a bit with upper end loads for my .40, I must say, I'm impressed with what he is doing!
In the 10mm, with the 155 gr. Speer Gold Dot bullet, @1489 fps, testing with water jugs (poor man's ballistic gelatin), I found that the bullet was losing a petal fairly regularly. But, that bullet always performs like a champ, when driven at 1200 fps or faster. Anyway, I'll be mostly reading. A guy can always learn something. |
