XD Newbie from PA
Hey everyone! I'm new here and I'd just like to introduce myself.
I'm 19 and have been a handgun fanatic for about 6 months now. My dad and I have really gotten into it. We've happily accepted shooting as our hobby as of late, and have even gotten the mother in on it as well. Hey, it might be an expensive hobby, but I can think of plenty of other hobbies that are just as (if not more) expensive than shooting. My dad has always had a few pistols (for home defense) but he has recently developed a ridiculous addiction to Sig Sauer sidearms. In the past few months, he's added over a half dozen pistols to the family collection: Sig Sauer P220R Elite .45, P220 Carry SAS .45, P220R w/ Nickel Accents .45, P6/P225 W. German 9mm Taurus PT745 2-Tone .45 Glock G30 .45 (his usual carry gun), Glock G19 9mm (mom's shooting pistol) I myself only have a Sig P6/P225 as of right now, but I currently have a XD9 Service 2-Tone on order (it should be here within a week!) I've done alot (alot!) of research and the XD9 seems like a suitable fit for me right now (since I can't carry until 21). That said, I'm sure I'll have a carry gun sometime in the relatively near future - maybe you boys can help me pick one out when the time comes?  |
