Hello everyone,

I've recently become the proud owner of an XD45. Love the gun, and enjoy training with it.

I've also recently obtained my HCP, and from the looks of it, it's not a moment too soon.

We are in full "Memphis in May" swing, and though a good time is had by most, there have already been some instances of people not playing nice.

I work a stone's throw away from "The River" (for those of you not from around Memphis, that's what we call the Mississippi) and staying late and walking to my car in the evening has become an interesting experience.

Thanks to all for the welcome, and the good info. Looking forward to being part of this community.

Will be at MIM BBQ contest and will be packin as well! I love Memphis, but it does have a high crime rate. Gotta always look out for numero uno!
