This is normal due to the slide racking back and forcing the barrel to cant during ejection. It's very rare when you don't see a scuff from the slide doing this. I use Buck's gun oil, it's like a high shear oil, looks like Turbine oil they use in turbines, a little thin but super high shear point, very slippery.
WELLCOME ABOARD, lots of good info here.

I have been using "Break Free CLP" for a very long time, and love it.
I have also been using "Hoppe's Elite" that I have noticed is very good as well.

Welcome from Alaska. I'm using Green Brake Cleaner... works great for cleaning then I oil it with Auto Oil.... Mobil One Fully Synthetic 5W-20. Put some on a rag to wipe and drop some on the slide and springs. Then the most important part is to air blow it out. This then take all the extra oil out so that I don't gum it up when shooting. Make sure you wipe the bbl inside and out. Inside is the important part.... don't leave to much oil there or it may over pressure and bulge the bbl. Good luck.
