Welcome to the forum from UT! I purchased a 1911 about a year ago by putting it on lay-a-way and made a $50 payment each payday. When I brought it home my wife was not very happy. I told her that "I" had saved the money and she had not noticed a lack of funds. If she wanted to 'save' she was free to do so towards what she wants. She is still bothered by the 1911 and I got a Ruger 22/45 last week that she still does not know about but o well, she spends on her hobbies with no fuss from me so I expect the same from her.

Wife update:
Ok...the mini Gunvault arrived yesterday and my wife saw it and didn't have a cow. I showed her how to use it and she tried it. She then asked me if I was getting a gun too. I said 'Very soon.' and she said ok. So I guess all my pre-gun purchase talk worked. I'll bring it up from my office tomorrow. |
