Hello from Washington

Hello, I'm from the land of liberal hippies. In some ways I guess I'm a gun toting hippy. I'm also Buddhist. So just about everything you wouldn't expect a gun owner to be. At least from the liberal media reports.

I've got 2 daughters and a son that doesn't live with me. This is my first XD. I didn't even bother looking at them for the longest time. My previous experience was owning a few rifles and a .357 S&W. I hesitated on the XD because I tried a Glock when they first started becoming a real fad back in the early 90's. I hated them.

Well, I got talked into trying one and it was love at first shot. My next purchase is a DPMS AR and some night sites for my XD45. It's been a long time since I've been shooting and I'm mainly here to learn from you guys.

Thumbs up

Hey Bremerton, I spend the summers in Chimacum. Ever hear of it? We do some of our shopping in Bremerton.

I, too, fell for the XD.45 at the first handling. I have been very happy with it...

I do know where that is. How lucky are you. Winters in Arizona and summers in Washington. I can only dream. Winters up here suck.
