Hi All
Hi all. I've been looking around here since last weekend when I picked up my new XD40 4" service model. I stopped at the range on the way home and ran about 30 Ultramax 180 gr conical lead rounds through it (the indoor range at my club only allows lead). I love the way it handles. Very nice indeed.
It has been about 15 year since I last shot a handgun (although I have kept quite active with all other types--wife did not want handguns around the kids). I used to have a Ruger GP-100 .357, a Ruger Blackhawk .357, and a Ruger Mark II .22. I also used to shoot my Dad's Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 mag (we were kind of a Ruger family). I love shooting and am hoping to get in on my clubs pistol league this fall. Already got the handloading dies on order too. Very informative site and glad I found it! |

Welcome from Colorado. I hope you enjoy your XD as much as I have mine (40 Tac, 45 service).

Welcome to the forum from Texas!
![]() Up until buying my XD 45 Service model a few months ago, I had a 6" stainless steel Ruger GP100 (.357) and it was one fine revolver! The wife said I had to sell it to finance my XD, though. Doh!

Welcome from Milton, FL. I love my XDs but my Ruger P345PR is a fine firearm never any problems and very accurate, I trust it as much as I do my XD guess I got one of the good ones.
