Thanks for the welcomes guys... I'm going to Sportsman's Warehouse on Saturday to hold a few different models so I can nail down which one I'm getting...

Has the XD9 Compact rumor been confirmed yet or is it still hearsay? If its true, I might wait it out...

Welcome!
I'd just go for the 45C...get the 9SC later.(or vice versa)
It is getting warmer and I'll be carrying my SC9 for the warmer months.

Welcome from Dallas TEAXS..................

I have an XD9sc and an XD45 compact.

Yes, 45acp ammo is high, but the XD45c is more fun to shoot.
I'm also more accurate with the 45 for some reason.

If I could only have one, it would be the XD45 compact.

Welcome to the forum from UT! I grew up in south east Idaho and long to return someday. The XD9 is a great choice. I personally own 45s and love them, but the 9 has a place in the shooting disciplines and is perfectly fine for self defense if needed.
