At Last!

I have been around for a while, trying to get a feel for the XD series and anything I need to look out for ... I finally gave up on finding potential problems and just bought one last night (4" service, bitone, .45ACP). Only had time to break it down (I'll get to the range this weekend), but if it shoots as sweet as it looks, this will be one great gun. Got the XD primarily for HD use and picked up a tac light/laser at a good price (I think) while I was at it.

I live in NC, the RTP area, my wife and I both have our CC permits. I now carry a Walther PPS and she has a S&W 649 (bodyguard).

Look forward to learning more about the XD from you folks.

I'd rather have my XD and not need it, then need it and not have it....
