Long time gun nut, new to XD
Bought an XD-45 Service model about 6 months ago. So far I love the gun. It's my first plastic, SA only, striker pin fired type auto. Still getting used to not having a hammer. I've been a loyal revolver and taurus PT-99 fan for decades. The gun fits my large hands very well, and shoots very well at 25 to 50 feet. I'm considering a trigger job. I would rather do the work with replacement parts (trigger bar and spring set) and some good ole fashioned polishing and tuning. This forum seems like a great place to get information.

You are going to really enjoy that XD45. Over time, the trigger will improve...
