Hey from Georgia
Started with a Rossi .38 Special then moved onto a cheap Llama Max-I 1911 style 45 ACP. Two of my friends had XD 45s, one a ACP and the other a GAP, and I got to try both of them about a year ago and immediately decided that I needed an XD. Well, it took a little while but I picked up an XD-357 Tactical today. I can't wait to make the twenty minute trip up to Georgia Arms to stock up on ammo and take it out to the hunting club soon. It was only about a year ago that I got my first handgun, we never had any growing up...just hunting rifles and shotguns. After having my dad try out my 45 at the hunting club, he's been hooked...worse than me. He's already got a Ruger 44 mag, a S&W 357 Mag, a Colt Semi-Auto 22, a Heritage 22, and now is getting a Sig Mosquito 22. I have a feeling after he tries out my XD, it will be the next on his list.

Welcome to the forum from UT!
It is always nice to get family involved in all kinds of shooting sports. I have an XD45 and took it to my in-laws one day for my two brother-in-laws to try. Maybe I should contact SA and ask about a commision for all the XDs I have helped sell! |
