Hello from Sunny Orlando

I live in Orlando, Fl. and just wanted to say hello to eveyone. I am 36 and have been a gun owner for 10 years now. I previously owned a Taurus PT 111. I got it cause I needed a carry gun, then got my CCW. I decided that I wanted a more full framed gun, as while my mellenium has been flawless over the years, it just isn't very confortable to fire 200 rounds through in one sitting.

I took my wife to the CCW class, and was actualy looking for a CCW for her(she has a full size 1911) we looked at the XD-9 service. We both loved the gun, and after renting the one at the range to try, I fell in love, while my wife decided agaist it. She would stove pipe about every 3rd round, probably limp wristing we found out later, but I decided it was my new gun. I now have just made my first XD purchace. I Ordered my XD-9 4" with the Trijicon night sights....and friday cant come soon enough.

Well that's my story, and I'm glad to have found this forum.
