Hey everyone my name is Tony and this is my first gun xd-40 anyone have any suggestions on this gun...

yeah no problem as soon as I can fix my camera I will post photos of it... I think I'm going to love it because of everyting I have read on this site has pushed me to buy it instead of the glock... Anyone here know how I can make it look better...

Welcome to the forum from UT!

Being your first firearm, I would suggest you put at least 500 to 1000 round down range before you begin to do any mods. This will help you develop the proper shooting grip/stance and help you to know what exactly you will want to mod. I have an XD45 Service that is my carry weapon and I have not done anything to it. I might change the sights to night sights some day, but that is not a priority right now.

Welcome from WV. I would agree dont change anything until you are fully familiar with it. You never know what you will or wont like, especially during the break in.
