New XD-9 SC owner from Kentucky!
Hey everyone, I've been reading these forums for a couple months, and everything I've read here has largely been what convinced me to buy an XD! I went out to the gunshow in Louisville this afternoon and picked up a brand-spankin'-new XD-9 for $483 OTD! It's the first handgun that I've purchased for myself (I have a Ruger Standard from 1979 that my grandpa gave me a while back). I'm planning to go to the range next weekend to shoot it for the first time.

Here's some pictures of my new XD for you all to enjoy:
(they're pretty stinkin' big)         The guy I bought it from at the gun show was running a special where you got a free paddle holster with any XD purchase. Sweet!
