That's Northern Virginia. After a little bit of research and recommendations from friends, I went out and recently purchased a new XD9. There was no shortage of folks trying to talk me into a Glock, but so far I'm very, very pleased with my purchase. I really enjoy shooting the XD.

I also have a Ruger SP101 .357 Mag, which I don't enjoy shooting as much. My 14 year old son and I enjoy shooting clays as well 20 and 12G.

Looking forward to being a member of the forum.

No. I quit going there. I go to the NRA range cheaper and safer without the know it all attitude of the glock heads. Plus it seemed like there was always some unusual young "personality" there getting ready for the next Columbine.

How much did they charge you for the XD?

Welcome to the forum from UT!

I would love to get an SP101 for a carry gun and even went looking today, but none were to be found. I also was looking for an XD9 to go with the XD45, but none of those in tactical either!
