Hey y'all from Kali

Been lurking for a bit before I made the final plunge. Proud new owner of the wonderful XD-45 Compact. After the longest 10 days of my life took it straight to the range and put 200 rounds through it. I love how well it shoots. I need more bullets! Lots of great information on the site. Hope to be able to add my own little bit of life experiences. And maybe even get out and meet a member or 2 at the range. Until then, keep puttin 'em down range.

Welcome to the Forum, but for clarification, we natives still spell our state name with a "C".

You'll enjoy spending time here. Lot's of fun topics and good folks.

I know. But it feels like it since we can't have any of the cool toys, ie, hi-cap mags and suppressors.

LOL! Yea, other states are a little more "forward thinking" than ours on stuff like that, but ya just have to deal with what's here until it changes, OR NOT!

Wow, didn't think about it til just now but I didn't really say anything about myself. Well I'm in the Navy, 13 yrs so far, hence why I'm stuck in BFE California. End of next year I'll be back down in San Diego though. The only good thing up here is I have access to a range pretty much any time. We just can't shoot at night. Grew up in Kansas City and Georgia. So I may be new to the XD but definitely not to guns in general. Just started customizing my 10/22. Looking forward to doing a little bit the .45. And with ammo prices going right along with gas I'm starting to reload too. Time consuming and semi expensive hobbies, but oh so fun and informative.
