Greetings from Southern Oregon
I am an ex-LEO who has just purchased an XD Subcompact 9mm. Have run a few hundred rounds through to my delight - an excellent weapon. My LEO days were back when wheelguns were the order of the day so the DAO auto route is a new experience. We used to carry 18 rounds total on our person, a revolver and two speedloaders. I am now two rounds shy of that in one magazine.
When in law enforcement I was a Combat Firearms Instructor, Range Master and SWAT Team member. I appreciate the diversity of backgrounds and skill levels represented on the forum. Thanks for the great work. |

Welcome from Nor Cal. Please tell me that, for now, fly fishing for steelhead stinks up there as bad as it does down here right now. (I'm booked as a guide for the next month here and can't make it up there to check out my home waters.)

They are killing them for Steelhead up here. A friend of mine took 2nd place in a tournament last week and said the fishing is good.

Welcome from Bend. Medford has a nice little club down there if you ever want to go play the gun games with your new purchase. I'll be down there doing some fishing and shooting in the spring.
