First post....XD 45 is Awsome
Hello all,
This is my first post here. I recently purchased a new XD 5" Tac. What a weapon!! I have owned many 45's, most 1911's. I never thought anything would come close to them. This weapon is amazing. Regular hits out to 75 yards!!!! And I cannot make this thing jam. I have fired about 500 rounds and am purposely not cleaning it yet to see if it will fail. It points well, stays on target, double taps great...just can't get enough of it. I purchased an XD 40 for my son last year. This is also a great weapon. His mother is ready to trade her Glock to him. (He is currently in Iraq, so he doesn't know about the "deal" yet) My main interest is hunting with Big Bore revolvers, and Cowboy Action Shooting. I am thinking of trying my hand at IDPA with this new 45. Nice to be here, and look forward to chatting. Thanks |

Welcome to the forum and the XD family. I encourage you to try your hand at IDPA. You will find that your XD45 is a natural for CDP class. Enjoy.
