i chill in phoenix and have been eyeing the xd for 3 months, finally i balled up and purchased one. i have a bitone chrome and black xd45. i fired 50 shots after purchase and almost nutted myself. i am new to guns and feel that i set myself on the right path with my xd. i joined the SC gun club and plan on being a frequent visitor. my only problem is i don't ever want to put this thang down

I always thought it was warm in Phoenix, yet you say are cold. Wasn't it hard to purchase a gun when you were all curled up?

Just kidding you. I'm a middle-aged guy of 45, so I don't expect to be up on the latest slang.

In all seriousness, welcome and congratulations on your purchase. You are going to love it! I've put several thousand rounds through by XD 45 bi-tone service, and it has never given me a lick of trouble.

Thank you to all of you. I wanted to say that this is one of the most imformative sites i have seen. I baught my first XD yesterday. I got the Black Tactical in .45 and it feels so good in my hands and cant wait to bring it home. Once again thank you for all your information regarding this great line of weapons.
