Hello from Louisiana

Hello, my name is gunz4me and I suffer from black rifle disease as well as black handgun disease. My hobbies include firearms, computers, and DJing. You can also see me by the entrance ramp to an interstate near you holding a sign that says "Will work for ammo" during your commute to/from work.

Although I don't own a XD yet, I plan to purchase a XD-9 subcompact very, very soon. I figured I would come here to see what other XD owners thought of them. You will also have another Glock convert on your hands because I have enjoyed the XDs that I have shot thus far (XD-45, XD-40, and XD-9 V10).

No MP3s of my mixes, yet.... But I do have a library of about 60,000 MP3s. Sadly, I prefer to use Pioneer CDJs for playing because I just can't get over the lag issue when using PCDJ or Serato. Serato is better, but no where near as responsive as a CDJ, and I was told that the newer versions of Serato fixed some of the problems that I used to have with backspins and pitch. I still have some vinyl die hard DJ buddies who tell me that I sold out for going to the all CD format. If I whip out a laptop in a night club, I will probably never hear the end of it.

Welcome, what do you mix/spin/whatever? Specific genres?

Check out the Allen & Heath Xone:3D. Decent all around board for using all types of inputs.

I am mostly breakbeat and electro house. I currently own a Pioneer DJM-800 and 2 CDJ-800s. Years ago I had a full blown system and did mobile gigs and such, but now I just wanted to play around with it for more of a hobby. Expensive hobby, maybe, but not as expensive as a truck and a new boat
