Another hello from Cali

New to handguns. New to the XD. Just picked up an XD9.

I see some of you are in my neck o' the woods. Any chance you could show me some pointers at the range? A free fly fishing lesson could be in the trade.

Hey welcome to the board. I'm sort of in your neck of the woods...well about 40 minutes away by Lincoln.

Sounds good to me. I'll look into joining Lincoln's club, or buddying up somehow with you--not too far from Alta Sierra.

BTW, I used to race professionally and was a field tester for Marin, then Fisher, but I don't ride anymore, unfortunately. My knees couldn't take the stupid abuse I put them through.

Really, bummer you don't ride anymore. You're very near some of the prime riding in the state!

Hey, I'm getting a new Fisher, any day now...that's the other reason I was sort of trying to sell a gun.

Welcome, from Colorado. If you where closer I would take you up on the fishing. Except I really don't know that much about shooting.
