I see some of you are in my neck o' the woods. Any chance you could show me some pointers at the range? A free fly fishing lesson could be in the trade.
Is there a range up near Grass Valley / East Auburn? My kids go to school up there, and we can arrange a meet time at a range up there one of these days after I drop them off.

They normally take the bus, but I take em up once in awhile.

There is an outdoor range in Colfax and an outdoor range just north of Auburn on 49. The only indoor one I can find is up by the GV airport. I hear it's nice but hard to get time and a little on the expensive side. I'm going in two weeks to check them all out.

What about around Rocklin/Penryn? Anything there you know of?

And thanks for the offer! I really would like some on-range pointers.

Lincoln Rifle Club is it. The one just north of Auburn on 49 sounds like right by my kids school.

I found a good outdoor range in my neck of the woods. It has very helpful people. I shot 200 rounds last Sunday. I'm still looking for a poor weather alternative. Is the Lincoln Club indoors?

Outdoors, but the shooting stations are under a permanent structure. I'll check, but I think it stays open unless its storming. Going to go tonight when they open at 4pm

Where in Colfax can you shoot? I've heard there's a place over there, but I have no idea where to look.
