My first date with a hot Croation...(hello from Denver!)
I had my first date with a hot Croatian today
 . The XD45 Tactical is one beautiful sidearm. I've fired Sigs, Glocks, S&W, revolvers, rifles, and shotties. This is my favorite pistol of all time. The feel is chunky, but in a good way. Compacts don't fill my palm to the bottom. This one feels just right. My Remmy 870 has a sexy new roommate  .I was rusty and teacupping her butt at first. Been a while...Once I quit that, my grouping got a lot better. I went more for kill zones than bullseyes. This thing will fire as fast as you can pull the trigger. 20ft. Best grouping in the head.  20ft. 3 bullseyes!  50ft, back o' the range. I drifted to the left on these, but the kill zones look good.   The grip angle, weight, and recoil on this gun are virtually perfect. The XD packs a decent kick, and fits my huge paws nicely. I was surprised how nicely the recoil was handled by the pistol. It didn't want to dance unless my grip was too loose. It would always settle right back down, but my grip was just off a bit. I won't need much of an excuse to go back to the range and practice.
