1st Time Owner From STL
Grettings guys.
I just ordered my very first handgun, and therefore my very first XD. I picked up a All Black 9mm Service Model from GunBroker.com, new in the box for $399 + $25 shipping. I think it was a good deal. I really wanted to go with a local shop and support them, but the cheapest that I could find locally was $490 + Tax. That is quite a difference. With the money I am saving I am planning on picking up a quick access safe and stocking up on ammo. This gun will be primarily for range shooting, home defense, and probably a little bit of CC. I won't be CC too much because I work at a university and they are a definite no-go. I will be carrying when I am out on the trail (hiking and wheeling) and camping in remote areas. Thanks for the great forum. I have been lurking for a while and you helped me make my decision! |

Congrats!! That is a great gun.
BTW Rhino Cool Avatar!! Machete Rules, cant wait for Planet Terror on DVD, supposed to have a 40 min. Machete movie...
