Hi From Central CA
Just wanted to say hi from Central CA. Still trying to decide if I want to get the XD .40 or .45 service model, or the equivilant Glock. Thre reason I still can not decide is because I can get the LE discount on the Glock and I am sure that will make it cheaper than the XD. Also I am concerned about the grip safety on the XD. I have heard some not so good things about it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Great forum by the way.

Welcome!!! and id like to know what you've heard about the grip safety, i havent seen complaints in here yet?
good luck with your choice tho, IMO go with what you shoot better overall with, not the price

I have heard that if the grip safety is not held all the way that it can lock the slide.
