I just found this site from a 1911 site that I frequent. I have an XD 45 ACP Service model in dark earth. I've had it for less than a year and have put quite a few rounds through it without any failures from various types ammo. I really appreciate the reliability of this thing. I purchased two extra magazines and haven't had any problems with them either.
I would like to send it back to SA for some trigger work, a little too much travel for my style shooting, and I'd realy like to get it to shoot "point-of-aim" also. Maybe some night sights too.
So here's my question. Has anyone returned their XD to SA for rework, and did you get what you paid for? I think with a little fine tuning, this would be an amazing weapon.

Welcome to the forum. I recommend sending your XD to either Scott at www.springerprecision.com or Rich at www.canyoncreekcustom.com. They have each done trigger jobs on my XDs and both do good work. PM me if you would like more details.
