Yeah... I just joined the fold... new XD
San Diego area here... haven't got it yet, apparently I'm still cooling off, but its the XD 40 subcompact 3" in black...
This is my first semi, always been a revolver guy, decided it was time to move forward. I'll keep my SW J frame, but need more rounds at the ready. Glad to be here and looking forward to meeting you folks and sharing some information... maybe a few laughs... unless y'all are a bunch of hard asses...

Howdy, Just chimed in myself, waiting on the gun store to track a .45 tactical down for me, I shoot 1911's in IDPA and have a Springer 1911,and a Kimber, but alway wanted a peice of tuperware. but Glocks just don't do it for me...Sorry Folks. they just don't...

Thanks... the gun came in... just got back from starting the cool down paperwork and visiting my gun... I think we are going to get along just fine.
Apache... stopped and picked up ammo on the way home... 10 days... I'll probably go frigid...
