Howdy! from up here on the hill.
I shoot 1911 's in IDPA and have been thinking about getting a XD Tactical .45 for night stand and home protection..My Springer is a little heavy on the belt...

Welcome to the forum from UT. I have both the XD 45 and a 1911. The XD is my bedside/carry gun, the 1911 is the WOW gun I show to new/nonshooters to get them exited to go shooting.
