Former Glock Owner - New to XD
Greetings,
Just got my new XD-45. I had a Glock 21 and a Glock 30. The Glocks shot like a dream but never felt comfortable in my hand. The XD fits like a glove and I really like the grip safety and the "hard to miss" loaded chamber indicator. Oh well, I have not even shot it yet, but looking forward to it. I also have a Taurus 24/7 9mm and a nifty little S&W 637 .38 Special with the crimson trace grips. Just wanted to say hi! Matt |

Welcome to the forum... and just a side note... most xd guys aren't glock/xd "racist" like some of the glock guys I've seen... We love all plastic guns alike

Welcome Matt!
My first handgun was a Glock 21 and I had the same problem. It fit me terribly and left abrasions on my hand from the course stippling. Also, the recoil sucked. I bet you'll find your XD has a smoother power curve on the recoil and thus less 'perceptable' recoil, like I did. Also, I can shoot it all day long with no discomfort. Welcome to the club! |

The Glock 21 is a brick. The 19 on the other hand is just my speed, and the only Glock I seem to really like.
