newb xd 40 owner
Hey everybody!
I got my xd 40 service model 2 months ago and have since put 600 rounds through her and enjoyed firing every single one of them. So I guess it would be appropriate to tell ya'll a little bit about myself. If you couldn't guess by my use of "ya'll" I'm from Houston, Texas. I served 3 years active duty in a cavalry unit 2 of those years I was a unit armorer and spent 1 year overseas in that wonderful vacation spot called iraq <puke>. I'm now in the national guard and thinking about a career in law enforcement. I think that about sums every thing up, if ya'll got any questions just give me a hollar. Matt |

If you haven't done it already check out TXDPSA.com. It is a group of fellow XD owners who meet every month in the Houston area for a group practical shoot. I have been to a few of their matches and trust me when I say you won't find a nicer group of folks to shoot with.

Welcome to the group and more importantly welcome home from Iraq. I spent some time over there "Desert Storm" and I agree with your {puke} observation. You'll love the XD.
