Another FNG
I've been lurking for two weeks now. It was about that same time that I purchased my first and only firearm, a 4" .45ACP compact. I had originally wanted a .40 subcompact, but I'm told they're on back order until sometime next year. I've had my CCW for over 2 years and I felt it was about time I set aside some money for a pistol. After reading as many reviews as I could about the XDs, I figured I couldn't go wrong. It's been great reading everyone's informative posts and I feel this community has a lot to offer. Well done!

I bought a box of 250 and I've only shot 70 of that so far. This holiday weekend I'll be looking forward to shooting off the rest and possibly more. I definitely need the practice to get a better feel for the trigger action.

Welcome to the forum from UT. I too own the XD45 service and can tell you, practice, practice, practice! 45 is not the cheapest to shoot but a good reason to start reloading.
