I have found your forumn to be a wealth of information for one of my favorite guns, the Springfield XD. I own three XD's, 40 tactical, Compact 45, and most recently the 45 ACP Tactical.

I am now in the process of thinking about what modifications I want to make to my 45's. The first one was adding the Tru Glo TFO sights to the Compact 45. love the sights, hate the fit. Next I was going to send the Compact 45 back to Springfield to have them do the Carry package to it.

Does anyone have any experience with this modification?

Before you go send your XD off to S.A., maybe you could check out some of our forum sponsers and the XD upgrades that you can do yourself.

I have the XD45 service and love it. As for the carry package, post a question in the General or 45 forum areas. More people will see the question and you will get more feedback than in the new member forum.
