Sorry for the delay in responding. The XD Gear holster is IDPA legal. I shot with that one for over a year and it worked fine. However, a few months ago I switched to a Blade Tech. Here is a link to the model I bought: www.blade-tech.com/Belt-Holster-IDPA-APPROVED-pr-871.html. My pistol is more secure and my draw is faster. If you don't care for that model there are several others you may like. Let me know what you decide to do. Good luck!
