new shooter and forum member
New shooter here. I just picked up my XD .40 Service in black this saturday. Took it to the range and put 200 rounds through it. I liked it, I paid more attention to trying to stop myself from flinching and doing proper trigger pulls than aiming but I think I did alright for my first time.
Here is my first couple targets at 35 yards ![]() ![]() That first target's bullseye? Very first shot ever from my XD. |

First time at 35 YARDS! I have been shooting handguns for a little over four years and could not shot groups like that at even 10 yards!
