Aloha
Hey all,
My name is Chris and I'm coming to you live from the anti-gun / anti-CCW state of Hawaii, more specifically the island of Oahu. I am a soon to be XD owner. Thanks to the lovely legislation here I am half way through the 14 day waiting period before i can pick up my new baby, she's paid for just gotta wait till next week!!!! Anyway my addition to the family is an XD40 Tactical. Been shooting since i can remember and hope to get into the IPSC shooting here soon. Any other islanders on here? Thx, Chris |

Hello and welcome from the gun friendly state of Indiana. I feel bad for you guys from the anti-gun states. Seems to me that if you're gonna buy a gun to commit a crime chances are you won't go through legal channels anyway, so the waiting periods (IMHO) don't really do anything.

Welcome to the forum from UT, one of the more gun friendly state. We allow CCW in public schools and college campus! The only problem is it just takes about 90 days to get a CCW permit.
