Hello All
New to the site and would like to just hi and introduce myself. I recently just got my CHP VA. I am a newbie and just want to learn as much as possible. I think this site is very informative and looking forward to posting some questions.
By the way, does anyone know of any good books to read up on XD's? I am interested in a XD 45 Compact. Thanks and will talk with you all soon. |

Welocome to the forum!
I havent heard of any good books dealing with the XD, save for the armorers manual, in any of my reading here on XD Talk. I think your best source for info is searching this very forum! Tons of info here, several vendors for custom work and supplies and generally knowledgeable people reside here.

Hiya Diesel, and welcome. I'm not sure if magazines count as "books" to you, but the June issue of Guns Magazine has an 8-page article (including a centerfold...Luv XD Porn!) on the 45c. For me, it was a pretty influential article prior to my 45c purchase.

Welcome to the forum. Once you get the XD 45, you will be very pleased with how easy it is to shoot and keep it shooting. The XD is one of the easiest sidearms you will find to clean and maintain.

Welcome to the forum. The XD45 Compact is a very nice firearm for carry. I currently carry the 45 Service model myself.
