Thumbs up FNG here!

Hello! New XD 45 Compact owner here! Just bought it new at a gun show this afternoon, I can't wait to get it out on the range. Looking forward to getting to know my fellow XD 45 owners, look for me on the forums.

It's unbelievable how fast money flies out one's wallet when buying a new gun. I've already picked up some ammo and ordered two extra mags... sheesh.

I've been saving up for an M1a, now it might take a little while longer I just couldn't pass up the XD after reading so many glowing reviews.

Welcome to the forum from UT! I have the 45 Service model and have also been trying to save for an M1A for about 10 years now!

I love my Compact XD45 so much, I just bought another one.

If you have a few bucks to spare, a trigger job by Springer or CC is WELL worth the money. it's like getting a new gun. Got a #3.5 trigger by Springer and can't put the thing down.

Lititz!!??

Welcome to the forum! you'll find a wealth of information here, and great people.

And I see you're from Lititz??? I was born and raised in Lititz! I went to Kissel Hill Elementary, then Warwick Middle and High Schools! I moved to DE in 1997 for my career, but still visit my parents out there.

Nice to "meet" someone from my old hometown.

I also saw your post in a different thread. I'm curious where to shoot in Lancaster/Lititz as well, because I plan on moving closer to that area. You can check out http://www.wheretoshoot.org/Find_Range/index.asp and do a search for what's close to you.

Good luck! See you around!
