New XD .40 4" Owner
Just picked up the XD .40 4" model, and I am headed to the range with it tomorrow morning. I picked up some Winchester 165 gr FMJ range loads to use tomorrow, I figured I might as well go with cheaper ammo while breaking in the gun.
I am also bringing a Glock 27, a S&W 3913 9mm, and a tiny Taurus PT22. I borrowed these from a friend. I am bringing the wife and a friend of hers, both of whom have never fired a handgun before, that is the reason I borrowed the 22. I borrowed the Glock because I really want to compare it to the XD, and he threw in the S&W. I will post results tomorrow. Happy to be here, Mike |

Heck with cheaper ammo, I always go with cheapest ammo! Use good stuff for carry and cheapest for fun.
Happy to see you! |

Welcome to the forum from UT. Do not forget to post a range report. I would like to know what your thoughts on the XD vs. Glock are after shooting each and how the Girls liked the outing.
