WTF? I wasn't making a wise crack to you or playing petty games. I was merely stating a fact.

It really does look exactly like the knife I was going to buy at Wal-Mart, complete w/ the black checkering and the thumb hole blade. I didn't say it WAS the same knife. What's the brand name on your knife (I can't see it clearly), anyway? Yours looks like the Spyderco I saw at Wal-Mart:

($40)

The DE Wal-Mart I go to for ammo sells Remington, Gerber, Kershaw, CRKT, Spyderco, and Benchmade knives. All of which I believe are decent knives (at least in my budget range). I don't know what brand your knife is, and maybe it isn't sold at your Wal-Mart, but it certainly looks the same. Either way, it doesn't mean I was busting on you in some way. I don't see anything wrong w/ buying a knife at Wal-Mart, especially if the price is right....

Sorry to have upset you.

It's OK man. I actually WAS being genuine. But I could see that if your Wal-Mart doesn't carry those brands of knives, you could think I was insulting you or something. I wasn't. It was an innocent misunderstanding. I believe you'll find that our forum here is a bit different from those other gun forums.

While I *can* be sarcastic at times, my Wal-Mart does actually carry those brands, and I was able to "handle" each one to see how they felt in my hands. Your knife looks exactly like the Spyderco I was going to buy (funds after ammo purchase didn't allow it though), which is why I said what I said in my original post to you. I plan on going back to Wal-Mart to purchase that knife. I really liked it (all for quality, name brand, AND price).

I'd have to venture a guess that you don't like Wal-Mart very much (based on your "trailer trash breeding ground" comment). Perhaps in your area it is a bad store run by idiots or something. That's cool. But in my local Wal-Mart, they do carry decent brands of knives, and plenty of ammo choices (.223, .22lr, 9mm, 45, etc), so I have no issues with going there to get the best deals on certain items.

No hard feelings, XD_T. Welcome to the forum! There's plenty of great people here, and so much great info you could read for days and never get tired!
